2007 - A.Celli Nonwovens launches the new generation winder and slitter-rewinder, specially developed to target the maximum production speed of 2000m/min.

2006 - A.Celli Nonwovens expands its product portfolio with the launch of Slittopack, a new, proprietary technology to integrate winding, slitting and roll packaging into a synergetic operational concept. The market response to Slittopack has been considerable with ten systems sold in the first year.

2004 - The pilot Wingformer is installed at the Rieter Perfojet Technical Center in Grenoble, France and made available for customer trials and product development.

2003 - A.Celli Mechanical industries is split into two different companies: A.Celli Paper and A.Celli Nonwovens. Simultaneously, an additional 10,000 m2 of manufacturing facility is acquired in nearby Tassignano intended for the new A.Celli Paper headquarter. The site located in Porcari is now fully dedicated to the nonwovens business.

2002 - A.Celli makes in roads into the airlaid business with the development of its patented airlaid web forming technology known as Wingformer.

2000 - A.Celli Shanghai established in Shanghai, China.

1999 - A.Celli South America established in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

1996 - A.Celli expands its manufacturing facility to 13,00m2 of covered surface at its site in Porcari, Lucca, an investment taken in response to its growing business and production needs.

1993 - A.Celli International Inc. established in Fort Lauderdale, FL (USA).

1992 - Strategy leads to establish two company divisions: Paper and Nonwovens, each division focusing on manufacturing machinery for the specific industry.

1991 - Alessandro Celli and Mauro Celli, grandsons of Alvaro Celli, join the company marking the third generation.

1986 - The internal Electronic Automation Department is established in order to exercise greater control over the manufacturing process and quality of electronic machine parts and also build on in-house research and development capabilities.

1980s - The following decade sees the company establish its international reputation as leader in the design and manufacture of customized winding and slitting equipment.

1979 - The company, which was previously exclusively a supplier of machinery to the paper sector makes the move into the nonwovens industry producing its first winder for nonwovens fabric.

1970s - The company undertakes its first generational transition when the sons of Alvaro Celli, Marco Celli and Piero Celli take over the business.

1960s - It is during this decade that the company's operations become international with the first winder manufactured for a non-domestic customer. Marco Celli and Piero Celli, sons of the founder Alvaro join the company. A.Celli Mechanical Industries SpA joint stock company is established and relocates to a larger manufacturing facility in Porcari, Lucca.

1950s - A.Celli becomes nationally renowned for the manufacture of paper making machinery and for supplying companies in nearly all the Italian regions with an active paper industry.

1944 - Alvaro Celli opens the first workshop near Pescia, Tuscany for the manufacture and repair of machinery for the locally-based paper industrial district.
